# Offline Access

### Offline Access

Offline Access allows you to use MOVIN Studio without an internet connection. This feature is available only to users with an Unlimited license and can be used for <mark style="background-color:$primary;">**up to 24 hours**</mark>. Please note that Offline Access is not available for users with a Basic license.

* After connecting the device and completing license authentication while connected to the internet, <mark style="background-color:$primary;">**Offline Access becomes available for that device on the current computer**</mark>.
  * To check whether Offline Access is available, connect the device and click the email button at the top-right of the app. Confirm that the message <mark style="background-color:$primary;">**"Offline Access Ready"**</mark> is displayed.
* To use the offline license, you must restart the app.
  * If you want to switch to Offline Access while the app is running, please close and relaunch the application.
* If the offline license has expired, you will need to reconnect to the internet and the device, then complete the license authentication process again.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.movin3d.com/movin-tracin-en/licenses/offline-access.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
